Welcome to the GSEM Grant Program information page. The purpose of the
GSEM grant program is to expand the capacity of SEAs to provide training
and technical assistance to LEAs for the development and implementation
of high-quality school emergency operations plans.
Applications for the program closed on July 7, 2014,
and new grantees were announced on September 23, 2014. Congratulations to our
FY2014 grantees! Throughout the life of the FY2014 grant, grantees can access this
page, and the password-protected REMS TA Center Community of Practice for
up-to-date information on upcoming events, available resources, and grant requirements.
GSEM Grantees by Geographic Distribution
Visit the REMS TA Center’s Community of Practice to access the following:
- GSEM State-Based Private Groups. Each grantee is assigned a Private Group on the CoP—GSEM ‘STATE’ Private Group. Use it to communicate with ED and your REMS TA Center Liaison.
- GSEM Grantees Private Group. This forum is for all grantees to communicate, collaborate, and share lessons learned. It will also be used to host Web chats.
- GSEM Project Directors Private Group. This forum is for grant project directors only to communicate, collaborate, and share lessons learned. It will also be used to host Web chats.
