Preparing for Study Abroad Emergencies for Higher Ed and K-12 Populations

On Friday, October 20, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET, the REMS TA Center, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education's (ED) Office of Safe and Healthy Students (OSHS), will host a Webinar on how institutions of higher education (IHEs) and K-12 schools—both public and nonpublic—can better plan and prepare for emergencies that students and staff may encounter when studying abroad.

Presenters will describe the process for addressing emergencies abroad in planning efforts, share case studies, and highlight resources and support available when preparing for these incidents. This event will also feature a dedicated 15-minute Q&A session during which presenters will field questions from participants.
